Remember: in order to earn respect, you must give it. Like it or not, there will always be people who will feel the need to disrespect you. They will be people who think you’ve changed for the worst, people who don’t like you, and sometimes even friends who expect to be treated differently from everyone else. You don’t live to please them, but you also don’t need to react negatively towards these people either. Just treat them with respect, and hope that they will be mature enough to return the favor. Always be the better person.

Remember: good things fall apart so that better things can fall together. If ever you feel that your life can’t get any worse or there’s no hope, just keep in mind that if you’ve hit rock bottom, there’s nowhere to go but up. God won’t give you more than you can handle, so take anything bad that happens with a grain of salt and keep on keeping on. With every dark cloud there is a silver lining, and there is always sunshine after a rain.
